“STAY THE COURSE”
Come join 150-200 church, mission leaders and refugee workers across Europe to be encouraged, share resources, best practices and practical ideas for ministering to refugees. This year’s theme is ‘Stay The Course’ and we’ll think together about how to stay on track doing Refugee Ministry in Europe. Every morning we have Ron van der Spoel as our plenary speaker and we also take time for worship, prayer, group discussions and workshops about various topics related to refugee ministry. In the afternoons ministry visits will be offered to see how Refugee Ministry in the Netherlands changes lives of many. Also time for more in-depth sessions, training and networking will be offered. In the evening you are welcome to hang out and network in the evening cafe, or join for a panel discussion on topics like Unaccompanied Minors or Justice.
The Roundtable starts by signing in on Monday February 5th at 4pm and is done on Thursday evening February 8th at 9pm . You are welcome to stay another night and leave Friday morning after breakfast.
Plenary Speaker Ron van der Spoel
Rev. Ron van der Spoel is a 49 year old pastor, married with Annette and father of three daughters of 22, 20 and 18 years. Ron served three churches in The Netherlands for almost 20 years, the last one being a church plant. Now he trains pastors around the world for Open Doors International and is the prayer pastor of a mission organization in Holland, called IZB.
